SB Steel is a long established steel stockholding and engineering supply business located on the main Carlow to Portlaoise road, 6 km north of Carlow town.

We stock a comprehensive range of mild steel products on site, enabling us to provide a fast and reliable same day delivery service. Our in house selection of tools, welding equipment and artistic, fastening and cladding products provides a one stop shop facility saving the customer both time and money.

As part of the Sherling Steel Group we have access to operations across Ireland and the UK with stock in excess of 35,000 tonnes and a wide range of processing services including shotblasting and priming, cutting, drilling, profiling and beam welding.

A combination of our local knowledge and the backing of a large group means we have the experience, the people and the operational infrastructure to service the needs of local customers in the engineering, agricultural and fabrication industries.
